the High Noon Choir

Directed by Siobhan Robinsong, (founder of the Gettin’ Higher Choir) the High Noon Choir provides a place for singers who are looking for a daytime outlet for their voices. The High Noon Choir invites all who like to sing in harmony to join us on Tuesdays from high noon (12:00pm) to 1:30pm at the Church of Truth (111 Superior Street) for lively and joyous sessions of song.

Our repertoire is eclectic, including (but not limited to) world music, spirituals, African freedom songs, various rounds and chants, as well as some contemporary music. No previous singing experience is necessary. You do not need to know how to read music, as most of our songs are learned in the oral tradition.

An orientation for new singers is held at 11:30am, before choir on the first week of each 12-week season.

Fees for Fall, Winter and Spring seasons are on a sliding scale from $110 down to $90 depending on your ability to pay. If money is a barrier to your joining in, please contact us.
