the High Noon Choir

The High Noon Choir was started by Siobhan Robinsong (founder of the Gettin’ Higher Choir) as a place for singers who are looking for a daytime outlet for their voices. The High Noon Choir invites all who like to sing in harmony to join us on Tuesdays from high noon (12:00pm) to 1:15pm Pacific Time for lively and joyous sessions of song.

Our repertoire is eclectic, including (but not limited to) world music, spirituals, African freedom songs, various rounds and chants, as well as some contemporary music. No previous singing experience is necessary. You do not need to know how to read music, as most of our songs are learned in the oral tradition.

During this time of required physical distancing due to COVID-19, High Noon Choir has moved to the Zoom platform, with sessions led by Dick Jackson and Siobhan Robinsong. All are welcome! Click here to Register for the weekly Tuesday High Noon Choir sessions, 12:00–1:15pm Pacific Time! You will receive an email with instructions on connecting to the event, and an update with an updated link and password each Tuesday morning.

Registration is free, and if you enjoy our singing together and are able to donate to the Virtual Tip Jar, your kindness is gratefully received. Our Donate button is on our front page. Thank you.
